How long does it take?

Nine core modules follow a ten-day learning plan, with time for review and catch-up. Workers can return to their reference notebook whenever they need it.

Do workers need a smartphone and email?

A smartphone, yes. Email, no: each worker receives a personal activation card, chooses a PIN and returns with their username and PIN.

What languages does it support?

Workers choose their language. Reviewed translations appear in lessons; English is shown when a reviewed translation is not available. Audio and simple examples support learning.

Can we claim the cost?

Many PALM employers apply through the Skills Development Program. We give you the scope, quote and evidence; DEWR makes the decision.

Can my labour hire provider arrange it?

Yes. Labour hire providers can apply for their host employers.

Pricing

Pricing for PALM Skills Development Program training

$600

including GST per worker

12 months of access

Eligible employers may be able to claim this cost through the PALM Skills Development Program (Tier 2). Approval, your remaining annual cap and GST treatment apply, and the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations decides each application. Employers pay upfront; worker time and logistics are separate.
